www.maniladailyphoto.com/ This old building was built from 1823 to 1829 but was later damaged in the 1863 earthquake. It was reconstructed in 1876 which was used to house Customs Officials. It was again damaged during the Japanese bombings in 1941 and the battle of Manila in 1945. It was renovated again after and became the office of the National Treasury and then later on the Central Bank of the Philippines and the Commission on Elections before it was abandoned in 1979.
